Education Outside the Classroom
Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC) programmes provide ākonga with access to hands-on experiences that are not available inside the classroom.
Through EOTC programmes ākonga can learn vital skills in team building and leadership. They have experiences that help their ability to overcome limitations and grow their confidence. These programmes are aligned with the National Curriculum.
Year 8 Ākonga
Every year the Year 8 ākonga get the exciting opportunity to attend a week long camp in Nelson. During this time ākonga create stronger bonds with their peers and push past self-imposed limitations.
This is a camp focused on creating strong role models and leaders as well as life long skills to best prepare them for the future.
